Now in its twenty third year The Trinity College Social and Political Review is a peer-reviewed academic research journal dedicated to publishing the best work of Trinity students in the fields of social and political science. The SPR provides a forum for the exploration of a wide variety of new ideas as well as a re-appraisal of long accepted ones. Our annual Review comprises the best in original research and writing and gives students an invaluable opportunity to feature in a highly respected academic publication.
Published articles are in the form of academic essays in areas as diverse as Irish Politics, Social Issues, International Affairs, Europe and Political Theory. Whilst the journal provides a large spectrum of articles, all essays have the same specific aim of promoting more meaningful and involved engagement with the pressing social and political challenges of our time.
